Automotive industry is all about designing, developing and manufacturing motor vehicles including the motorcycles, cars and other types of commercial vehicles. This industry has always been one of the most attractive industries of the world but it has expanded in a remarkable way in the recent years.

When you will check the records of the last year, you will truly be amazed to find out that more than 73 million motor vehicles were produced in 2007. Precisely, 71.9 million automobiles were sold in 2007 as a whole.

The numbers are overwhelming but the great thing is that markets in Asia and South America are still growing. What it means is that number of vehicles in countries other than America will also grow in coming years. In America, however, you can find more than 250 million vehicles so it is not easy to come close to these figures.
